The Pawlet Public Library is accepting book donations for our annual book sale!
The Sorting Center is located at 2519 VT Route 30. You can donate any Tuesday from 9:00am-11:00am, until mid July. The book sale will be held at the Mettawee Community School on July 25-26. This huge annual event is the primary fundraiser for the library. We greatly appreciate the generosity of community donations toward this valuable fundraising effort. SCHOOLS AND LIBRARIES ARE ASKED TO CALL 802-325-2708 TO TALK TO A SORT CENTER VOLUNTEER BEFORE DONATING LARGE QUANTITIES OF BOOKS.
Please read carefully the list of books and items WE DO NOT ACCEPT before you pack your boxes. The cost of disposing of damaged books, or books that cannot be sold, falls to the library and greatly impacts our fundraising. Please do not donate books that are moldy, falling apart, missing covers, or are in poor condition. If you have questions about your donation, please call 802-325-2708 and one of our volunteer sorters will get back to you.
